End User Policy

 

What causes inflation? Oil prices, interest rates, and resellers trying to be cool on the internet.

 

Someone buys a discounted item at Goodwill with the intent to sell it—they sell it for a profit on the internet—Goodwill knows this is happening so what do they do? Raise prices.

 

Now those shoes, pants, and tables cost more for the people who really need them.

 

This is unfair, inapproropriate, and unnecessary. There are plenty of industries where flippers add value, like real estate. How does making $20 off a table add any value to the resellers’ life? I view this the same way I view the people who want to own businesses via fads. Wanna be a business owner, bro? Go do it the long, hard way like everyone else!

 

Socially Acceptable’s Support Store is taking a stand.

 

These products and the intentionality of their pricing are designed to be for, and benefit, the end user. It’s assumed the purchaser has “end-user intent” for themselves and/or their loved ones.

 

If you are a reseller and/or have the specific intent of flipping our items, we’ll ask you to not return; we’ll take you off our lists; and we’ll just make it hard for you to come to the party.

 

Karmic Repurcussions

 

Socially Acceptable’s core thing is repurposing. Its foundation is baked in resourcefulness. The founder, Brandon Mullan, is one of those kooky people who “do what the universe tells him to do.” No one is trying to own rockets or marry a trophy wife with no personality then take photos with her.

 

We’re trying to spread resourcefulness and support people’s quality of life.

 

We got our start by being a recess vendor for the local elementary schools. (We supply the recess coaches for Madison Simis, Rose Lane, Heights, and now Camelview.)

 

That said, if you are a reseller, you’ll most likely experience negative karma. We can’t promise you, but you may experience:

-animals not liking you

-kids not coming near you

-grasshoppers coming out of nowhere and getting that spit on you

-no availiability at your favorite restaurants

-negative things that only happen to you

-being misled by tech people
